Images from Riazzoli
We rent our apartment. I quite like it, even the white ubiquitous white walls. They are actually my preferred wall colour, I think because then I can add so many different coloued accents that can continually change. I long to be able to paint my walls in bright colours though! Like this fluorescent pink.
So, I'm always on the look out for new interior ideas that don't involve painting or putting up wallpaper. I really love these images from Riazzoli, showing how you can infuse a lot of colour into a room with day to day objects.
Hi Hannah. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with white walls myself. Especially if you're going to splash your favorite colors everywhere. I even wrote about how much I love renting because it allows me to change my scenery at the drop of a hat. Another way to add color to walls is with large pieces of art. And you can always swap those out :)

ReplyDeleteWhite is completely my wall color of choice, too. When we moved into our current rental, the walls were all painted shades of gray and when we asked to paint the response was "well, as long as it isn't offensive." When I told them I wanted white, they were floored. And totally happy.
