Images from Cinemagraphs
So in a few weeks I am heading to New York and I could not be more excited! I love planning trips, so planning a big trip like this is super exciting for me. Reading tips, guidebooks, looking at maps- it's all part of the build up! Then we get to the place and just go with the flow, but it's fun to plan at least ;) Looking at these cinemagraphs from Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg gets me even more excited- they are absolutely brilliant.
One thing I am also doing is watching films set in New York (Hello, Home Alone 2). I started doing this themed film idea a couple of years ago before our wedding in Italy and it was a really fun way to look forward to it even more!
Do you have any New York film recommendations?

oh, NY. you are going to love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI was just there and I'm trying to go back... Love it!
ReplyDeleteThese cinemagraphs are so clever! Have you been to New York before? I went for the first time in March and absolutely loved it! I loved discovering the neighbourhood in which You've Got Mail is set (one of my fave films anyway) and watching a lot of How I Met Your Mother for inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI second You've Got Mail {it was on television recently} and the restaurant it was filmed at is nice. Well the food they serve is good but the service is terrible and you will be sitting on your neighbor's lap. :)
ReplyDeleteSex and the City - the first, Julie and Julia. I feel like a lot of movies are set there and there's a good one I'm forgetting. Try this though: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_set_in_New_York_City
