DIY Painted Popcorn

As autumn approaches, we watch a lot more TV in our house, which means TV snacks. One of my favourites is popcorn. I love popcorn- it's a pretty low fat snack and great to munch on! I am a salted girl myself, and the saltier the better. I thought I would show you a fun way to make it a bit more exciting- by painting it! All you need is ready popped popcorn in whatever flavour you like, a board and a couple of different colours of food colouring.

Take a couple of different colours of natural food colouring and dot it on a chopping board, channeling your inner Jackson Pollock.

Then, lightly roll the popcorn in the different food colourings to coat it all in random places of the popcorn. Leave this popcorn to dry fully for a couple of minutes and then serve, crunch, munch etc.
